The Magoebas Ultra 160km is the first ultra distance trail event in the vibrant South African province of Limpopo. The 160km route is truly an adventure through the whole of the Magoebaskloof valley. From magical singletrack through the indigenous forests of Magoebaskloof to the summit of the highest peak in Limpopo, the Iron Crown - this route is the ultimate mixture between forests and mountains and between runnable forest roads and exhilirating single track.
Some of the highlights of the 100 miler route includes summiting the Iron Crown - twice! Running past Serala Peak (the second highest point in Limpopo), seeing Cleopatra's Pools and waterfall, running through Wonderwoud in the Wolkberg mountains and also running through the indigenous forests of the Magoebaskloof valley.
